Women's Ministry
Signal Mountain Baptist Church seems to abound with ministries for women of the church and community. With activities that provide times of fellowship, Bible studies and ministries, we seek to provide varying activities so that every woman in the church will find her place in these ministries.
Bible Studies -
A regular monthly Bible study is held on the third Monday morning of each month during the school year. Short-term studies are held on a weekly basis during different times throughout the year.
Ladies Night In/Out -
Ladies Night In is held two times a month and offers an opportunity for fellowship while ladies join together to work on their own projects. Example of projects would include scrap booking and craft items, and there are on-going craft projects for those who wish to be a part of that ministry.
Ladies Night Out is usually held once a month, typically on a Friday night and gives ladies a chance to gather together over dinner or some other activity for a time of fun and fellowship.
Book Club -
Every other month, women are invited to gather together to discuss a book which they have recently read. This group of ladies determines which book will be discussed at the next meeting which is usually held on the second Sunday afternoon of every other month.
Special Events -
Other special events are scheduled for our ladies throughout the year. Usually in the spring, a ladies luncheon is scheduled on a Sunday immediately following the morning service. Women’s weekend retreats are also a favorite time for the ladies of the church.
